Q: What should I expect during a lip filler procedure?

A: Lip filler appointment always starts with comprehensive medical consultation between Medical Practitioner and the Patient. The practitioner assesses patient’s anatomy, facial features, health and suitability for the treatment, while the patient can ask any questions and discuss desired results.

During the lip filler procedure, medical practitioner will cleanse and numb the area for around 10-20 min to decrease any discomfort, and then inject the filler into specific points on the lips. The process typically takes around 15-30 minutes and may involve some discomfort as some points may be more sensitive than other. Some gentle massage to lips may be applied after injections.
